Elevating Lash Education
Where it Started
Face Behind KLASHIFY
I’m Kätlin Liaks – lash artist, educator, international judge, and the mind behind KLASHIFY.
My journey in the lash industry has never been about quick results or simply following trends. From the very beginning, I was driven by curiosity and a strong need to understand my work on a deeper level. I’ve always paid close attention to details – how technique affects the final look, how small adjustments change the result, and how consistency is built over time.
Over the years, I’ve invested heavily in my own development through advanced trainings, daily hands-on work, and constant self-evaluation. I believe growth comes from being honest with your own work, questioning your decisions, and striving to improve with every set you create. That mindset shaped my approach early on and continues to guide everything I do today.
As my experience grew, other artists naturally began reaching out. What started as simple questions slowly turned into deeper conversations about technique, styling, and confidence in one’s work. I realised that many artists were facing the same doubts and challenges I once had myself. Teaching became part of my path long before I consciously decided to become an educator – it happened organically, through sharing knowledge and supporting others.
Today, my work is rooted in that same intention. I focus on helping artists build clarity, confidence, and a stronger understanding of their craft. KLASHIFY grew from this journey and continues to evolve alongside me – shaped by experience, high standards, and a genuine connection to the lash community.
Community, Events & Competitions
A significant part of my growth has come from being deeply involved in the international lash community.
Competing in numerous lash competitions pushed me far beyond my comfort zone and played a key role in developing my technical skills, precision, and attention to detail. Preparing for competitions required me to analyse my work on a much deeper level – questioning every choice, refining every movement, and understanding how small details can completely change the final result.
Through competitions, I’ve had the opportunity to attend lash events across Europe, connect with artists from different backgrounds, and work alongside some of the industry’s most respected trainers, speakers, and judges. These experiences exposed me to a wide range of perspectives, techniques, and teaching styles, helping me grow not only as an artist, but also as an educator.
Being part of this community taught me that growth doesn’t come from working in isolation. It comes from observation, exchange, and continuous learning. Seeing how others approach the same challenges has shaped how I think about technique, education, and long-term development.
All of this has strongly influenced the way I work today – grounded in experience, open to learning, and deeply connected to the wider lash industry.
From Experience to Education
When I started creating my own educational materials, the visual side was just as important to me as the knowledge itself. I wanted my manuals to look clean, refined, and professional. I couldn’t settle for materials where every page looked different or felt disconnected – consistency and visual harmony mattered to me deeply.
Because of that, I made the decision to create all lash schemes myself. The available options didn’t meet the standard I was looking for, and I knew that a beautiful, well-designed manual supports learning in a completely different way. A clear and polished visual language was essential for me, and I wanted every page to feel intentional and thoughtfully designed.
Digital Design & Learning Materials
Over the years, I had created a large collection of high-level lash schemes and illustrations for my own work and trainings. At some point, I realised how much had already accumulated and that this need I had faced probably wasn’t unique to me.
That’s when it became clear that other educators and trainers were likely struggling with the same issue. This realisation pushed me to take KLASHIFY in a new direction – focus on creating high-quality educational materials for lash educators who value clarity, consistency, and professional design just as much as I do.
